Sunglo Propane (LP) Patio Heaters - PortableThis handsome heater operates on a standard 20 lb. propane cylinder, which will give you up to six hours of continuous heat on one fill. Heat coverage varies from eight to 15 feet depending on the wind exposure on the patio. The average spacing between two or more of these units is 12 feet. This unit has a battery operated DSI (direct spark ignition) pilot ignition system, which lets you get the heater started with ease. It has a pilot-thermocouple with safety shutoff that must be manually lit. Heat is controlled with a manual on/off knob located on the front of the unit. The A270 heater offers a large aluminum disk reflector for maximum comfort, a primary aerated burner for minimal noise, and an efficient safety shutoff. The post and cylinder cover come in either 304 stainless steel ( silver ) or a variety of powder-coated finishes. A quick-connect gas coupling inside the cylinder cover allows the heater to be easily disassembled for storage or transport. The required clearance from combustible materials must be maintained on all heaters. In addition, heaters must have adequate fresh air and ventilation to operate properly.
